Travel by car to Gradiste, where you can visit the Museum on Water - Prehistoric Pile Settlement in the Gulf of Bones (replica of pile dwelling from 1200 to 700 BC)
Then continue on to the monastery complex Sv. Naum, built on a high cliff above Lake Ohrid, at its southernmost point, in a location of rare natural beauty. The construction of this monastery is related to the name of St. Naum the Wonderworker.
He was the youngest student of Saints Cyril and Methodius and together with Saint Clement of Ohrid he was one of the founders of Slavic literacy and education.
St. Before the end of his life, Naum founded the monastery of St. Archangel was buried there in 910 AD. There are many other churches around the monastery, such as: St. Petka, St. Athanasius, Agiasmos and others.
