The offer includes a visit to the well-known municipality of Vevcani, one of the sources of the Macedonian freemasons. Municipality considered as Republic. Known for the Vevcani Carnival with a tradition dating back to the 15th century.
The visit starts with organized transport from Struga to Vevcani for 20 min.
Upon arrival guests will have the opportunity to explore the authentic architecture of this picturesque mountain village and visit the Vevcani springs, one of the rarer pseudo-periodic siphon boats in Macedonia.
At the download the guests will have the opportunity to visit the church of St. Nicholas, one of the most beautiful revival monuments in Macedonia. The construction of this work took place between 1834 and 1864, and the church was consecrated in 1876.
The iconostasis is the work of the famous Miyak painter Dicho Zograf from the village of Tresonce, and the fresco painting was made by his eldest son Avram Dichov.
After visiting the church, guests will enjoy delicious food prepared from local groceries in a local restaurant.
After lunch the guests return to Struga with organized transportation.
