The offer includes a speedboat tour of Lake Ohrid with a speedboat driven by a professional skier, which will visit the Monastery Complex in the village of Kalishta, the village of Radozda, as well as the Monastery Complex St. Naum.
The first stop is the village of Kalishta, where you can visit the monastery of St. The Mother of God and the cave churches of St. Mother of God (14th century) and St. Athanasius (15th century).
Then, with the speedboat, continue to the village Radozda where you can visit the cave church of St. Archangel Michael (13th century) and explores the picturesque fishing settlement of Radozda.
Next destination is the Monastery complex St. Naum which is located on the other side of Lake Ohrid. The Monastery is built on a high cliff above Lake Ohrid, at its southernmost point a location of rare natural beauty. The construction of this Monastery is related to the name of St. Naum the Wonderworker.
He was the youngest student of Saints Cyril and Methodius and together with Saint Clement of Ohrid he was one of the founders of Slavic literacy and education.
Before the end of his life, St. Naum founded the Monastery of St. Archangel and was buried there in 910 AD. There are many other churches around the monastery, such as: St. Petka, St. Athanasius, Agiasmos and others.
After visiting the monastery complex, guests can dine at one of the local restaurants at the springs of the Drim River if they wish – the largest springs which fill the Ohrid Lake.
As part of the package, guests of the speedboat will be provided with water, coffee and seasonal fruit.
After the visit, the speedboat guests return to Struga.
Departure at 9am from the main port of Hotel Drim in Struga.
Return to Port Drim at 4pm.
